  • Even Hannibal had a soft spot for Clairice.

The parts of your character beneath their public, expected or even usual persona are the parts that take them away from being archetypes and make them into characters.
  • I still can't spell for unicorns, but mudding has drastically improved my grammar, sentence structure and overall typing speed.

English IS my first language and it's a terrible, complicated, messy language, so frankly, the fact …
  • Events that help to define and align the focus / purpose of an organization are good - but I feel that said events should focus on the strength and cohesion that can be found in organizations, and certainly makes them more appealing to be part of. E…

  • The thing I'll say about the recent racism event in Enorian is that everyone IS on the same side, really - they all think it's terrible and want it stopped.

Not a single person has mentioned icly or oocly to me that they'd like …

  • The code presented DOES work fine, in almost every situation. Just burst damage causes overeating, and since all endgame bashing means burst damage.. it happens a lot. I'll look into a timed check, versus having it look for the flag.
  • @Moirean - I use a variable called 'MyFlags' that many things are added / removed to and from as required. This means I can use %ismember( mcguffin, in [CMUD] Help! Moss overeating. Comment by Corlin June 2013
  • I have that!

Well, all my stuff is output in debug mode.

I already figured it's what you said - I'm just having issue figuring out what piece of my code needs tweaking to set the flag a little faster. …
  • Pretty sure there's a rage in here that talks about the last major event Enorian had, that espouses the same rage.

I honestly cannot remember the last time Enorian had an admin run event that was actually positive for the city, …

  • It's always run off prompt, for the prompt trigger. Sort of has to, for my system to run.

It's not an issue of something not working - my system functions very well, in most situations.

    It even mosses …
  • All my herbing is done through aliases. The healing scan - the alias that checks if I need to sip or moss - is run from my prompt. The line that sets my moss off (the eat line) is new line, though.
  • @Ezalor

Those limiters DO exist - it's what keeps me from eating all my moss at once or something. This is literally a case of the parameters fo…
  • I heard a lot of great things about The Name of the Wind, and I'm waiting for the series to finish before I pick it up.

If reading A Song of Ice and Fire has taught me anything, it's not to get into a world when the author is st…

  • The wheel on my mouse broke.

I never really thought about how attached to scrolling I was :/
  • Re: Sanderson

I wasn't going to read Wheel of Time when I found out Jordan died before finishing it, but having just finished the Mistborn trilogy by Sanderson a while before, once I found out he'd be finishing the series, I bec…

  • I've been borrowing a computer for the last while, but I've got a laptop of my very own now - still not used to laptop vs desktop, but I'm getting there - and I know I'll be pking more across my characters/factions.

    I'm not all …
  • I remember a lot of words, with the vague idea as to what they mean in the back of my head.

Often, I use a word, and quickly google it to see if I need to backtrack icly >.>

  • (Quote) Could it come with a 'mark all as read' option? There are a pile of old ones I never bothered to read, but that reminder would make me need to do it.
  • Luminaries do, for symbols. It's actually kinda expensive, in just gold ink alone, since we need one gold per symbol.
  • A word until I've seen it.

  • Friday, we're allowed to wear superman t-shirts at work instead of our uniform shirts.

    I don't own a superman t-shirt.

  • Cats land on their feet.
  • Feeling like the drama I mentioned before is seriously hurting some of the players behind the characters involved, and not really being able to fix it.

Dat powerlessness in Ankyrean Anguish - Aetolia-based RAGE Comment by Corlin June 2013
  • Wow, that was terrible to read.

Just knowing that something like that exists and that someone would actually use it makes me want to never leave a guard knot again.
  • Second day back at my old job after being gone nearly a year, and the entire electronic payment system goes down.

I work at a movie theater. It was Saturday night during the busiest set of the night. No credit, debit, gift card,…
  • I am not a counselor. I am not a psychologist. I am not even a very wise or worldly adult. Hell, my idea of babysitting is to make my nephew watch Don Bluth films until his mother comes home.

So here's a pile of rage at my play …
  • Havens are flavor. Meant to make life a bit easier for those who bother to get the points to get a forge or an end regen room or whatever.

I fully agree that the room description costs can be annoying - I've had a typo in one ro…
  • Moved back to the city. Glad to be home.

Got my old job back. Glad to be employed (starting Friday).

  • I've got access to recovery, and have warmth and renew. I'm tri-trans lumi, and have decent minis too.

You can see that from the couple of logs I posted, though they're not as pretty as haven's.
