I'm more interested in whether the forms are generic or how far they extend to one's "personality." As a Kelki, if I pick up Atabahi, can I be some sort of sea-wolf? Could a Horkval Bahkatu have creepy bear mandibles and bug eyes?
@Slyphe It's hard even to be a normal player during uni, I know from experience. But just remember: if you quit, the undead Kelki win, and you don't want that, do yo…
I really do want to interact with Alexina more, I never quite have any clue what she's going to do or what she's thinking. She feels complex enough that I really believe she's 200 years old, instead of age just being a number.
I know that Aetolia doesn't exactly need to crib off White Wolf any more than we already have, but I really always thought that Apocalypse/Forsaken's "all of the above" was the best answer.
(After promoting an alt to GR2 and watching him hunt a bit)
03:27:07 You have emoted: "I'm glad I found you," Carivah says to Malphas, nodding only briefly to Serendipis. "You were clearly no Recruit, but a Cohort indeed." She pats Malpha…
So to confirm, @Daskalos, you're fine with all the living, non-undead Spinesreach citizens getting the shield and then fighting Enorian with the defense up?
Just ran through a hunting route that as recently as yesterday gave me 3ish% and only got about .02% this time. I guess it's a good sign that I'm moving on up, but it still made me sadface.
But as Oleis's pointing out, none of the problems we have are inherent in the system, they're the result of player abuse, and there isn't going to be a solution that isn't open to the same type of player abuse happening in some other way.

I keep hearing about this sort of stuff and it's really discouraging to even buy a license and start trying. I have some ideas for guild related stuff I pass on to other people in the guild to do the heavy lifting, but when I genuinely feel…

You didn't even want Bloodborn-classed players in the Bloodborn guild to have mechanical access to Bloodborn skills without approval because you thought it infringed on Bloodborn's guild roleplay.

Stealing the knowledge is valid, I agree. I'm not sure how you'd go about that. Off the top of my head, I'd say maybe allowing anyone with enough knowledge in a class (tri-trans? time played? idk) to apprentice even if they aren…

But what you're describing ("I like what you do and learn how to do it but I'm not willing to join you outright") is apprenticeship. In the specific case of Deathlore, intellectually knowing how to do it means nothing unless you…

Guilds aren't so distinct from their skillsets, though. It's not as if guild=fluff and class=crunch in a strict divide between RP and mechanics.
Let's take Deathlore for example, which involves actively cutting up bit…

But there's more to being a Templar than just knowing how to swing a sword, more to being a Daru than just knowing how to throw a punch. If someone truly was an enemy of the guild and so, more than likely, an enemy of the class'…
I'm embedding so much of Carivah's roleplay in her undeath, and I really can't imagine any circumstances that would change that for her. That said, I feel like I won't be a real Aetolian until I have at least two side-hops under my belt.
Gambling is gambling, but there isn't anything on the list I'd consider a true loss. Maybe some might not be worth the money I put in, but all of them are a thing I'd want in any case. It sounds neat, I'll probably take advantage of it.
I always target. I always think, even if no one's spying right now, THIS may be the emote they see as they walk into the room. I couldn't abide breaking immersion for them, and me.
I always like working within the syntax as much as I can …
