As of the first of this year, my grandparents finally retired and my step-dad took over our small business. He was the previous office manager, so with him becoming the president of the company, I have been promoted to his old position, yay me/us!in my head, it's: Mwah-ree-ahn (this first syllable like french "me")but anytime I try to say it aloud, it comes out as: "Mwah...M-oi...Ra...ee... Oh howeverthehellyousayit!"@roux I'm not really sure why, but I pronounce it roo-sch (I am not sure how to make it look phonetically accurate in english....)I think…I know if "should" be "are-bruh/er" from my days in high school french class, but I always pronounce it "Are-Bray" cause, screw you pronunciation, I don't wanna.So, it's "Wolf-bray" and "Love-Bray" and "Mom-Bray" when I say them.I was reading the GOT series when I started playing, and Arya was/is my favourite character. Since it was way to lame to ACTUALLY use her name, I stuck some letters on the end of it.Conveniently, no one seems to pronounce Aryan…I know this is all about the Eat coast, but I'm marvelling at how many Washingtonians and Oregonians there are in places I've lived/live/visited. My states are much cooler than I realized!As one of the people who marked combat in my dislike, here's my explanation:
I don't do it, so it's one of the things I enjoy least as the question was phrased. I'm pretty sure I'm in the extreme minority for the playerbase in my near-complete-…The music we're singing for choir this term. Oh man. It's all poetry put to music, and most of it is just amaaazing. Many of the pieces make my hair stand on end, get me all misty-eyed, or just make me go full mushy "d'awwwwwwww!" when I list…selfish unrelated rage of the evening: being randomly given snippets of interesting random godly attention.... while on my phone in a grocery store, shopping.I'll never know know who you were! Or what might have come of it!I can't go. I mean. I might -actually- be able to go, but the SO couldn't afford it and he plays tons more than I do anyway.That said! I'm very curious if there's an update on how many tickets are still needing bought now that it is…I feel a little sick, but I don't think I'm -actually- sick. Just, mildly head-achy, perpetually cold despite being in warm work environment and intestinal discomfort. Probably just monthly lady hormones, but it's really annoying and discouraging my…I got a sizable raise this week! And.. I mean, really sizable. Overall gross income just increased by about 8,000 / year. Which is a huge bump for me!So, I spent the better part of this evening budgeting my new income, deciding…I am ONE CLASS away from finally having my AA degree.
Admittedly, I don't -need- the degree for anything other than personal achievement purposes, and sure it might help me get a job somewhere down the road if I move/this company dies/etc.…I'm jealous of all ya'll's snow. All I woke up to was the rain falling in a sheet over my house. Water doesn't collect on my lawn nearly as pretty when it's a liquid.Really? I thought Smith was remarkably LESS campy than the last... Well, than any of the other doctors I've watched so far... So... at least the most recent two and another several from classic.
