Eh. I've put 10,000 gold into most of them so far, which turns out to be kind of expensive. I did one with only 4,000 or so per use, but the number buffs was significant lower. Essentially, the buffs are great if you're trying to do -a lot- of bashi…

I meant that there is no incentive for conflict between Bloodloch and Spinesreach and there is no incentive for conflict between Duiran and Enorian, which Irruel's post was referring to. Sorry if my post was unclear.
Eh, I disagree with that. With the absence of a war system, there is nothing that necessiates alliances with other cities; quite simply, there will be no conflict on a big enough scale, with big enough losses/gains that makes a…

People seem to do this a lot. I've personally been told it isn't okay as per 'HELP AFK' (specifically the following part: "Furthermore, under no circumstances should any automation while you are AFK assist yourself or othe…
Filled to the brim with a myriad of gleaming sovereigns, it could certainly be said that this pot would be worth its weight in gold. Oddly enough; however, no amount of manipulation, twisting, or turning seems to effectively dislodge the coins from …

So. What about the 'quit' message? I was having a philosophical discussion about vampires' souls, or lack thereof, with someone some time ago, and they told me vampires obviously have souls since they pray to have them preserved (I think the actual …
The legitimacy of the Emperor titles (Russia's, Britain's, etc) does not really change the fact that they were recognized as emperors in the hierarchy of nobles (unlike the Emperor of all of Spain in the Middle Ages). I mean, you had the Ottoman Emp…

It's not really apples and oranges. Both are hierachal titles used by nobility, emperor being higher on the ladder than king. For example, the British monarch assumed the title 'Emperor' after the incorporation of India into the…
Aren't outliers part of the problem? I mean, if a few people can obtain millions of golds in a short timeframe, wouldn't that be enough to increase the market price on credits by a fair amount?
The credit market is so expensive. Like, last year, credits were as low as 4,000 gold per, now it's twice that much. Either the top end gold drops from mobs/quests should be lowered or there should be more ways to spend gold.
I wasn't really arguing about the worn slots as much as the notion of being able to put whatever you want in the appearance line. Really, removing the slots would be great.
This is just an example, but using a 'charm' design to make 'a c…
I actually think the current system is pretty good as it allows plenty of room for variation. If you want a belt, pick up tailoring to make a belt. Heck, in Achaea, you're not allowed to make steel b…
Re: Rashar The reason item type needs to be in the appearance is so that people will be able to intuitively interact with it. Let's say someone logs into Aetolia for the first time ever and after a bit someone gives him all these amazing items.…
Please, I would love this so much. I went there and looked and some of the mobs' descriptions and they were pretty poorly written compared to newer areas. It is a very large area but you never really get much of a feeling for the people/things livin…

My point was that this honours line (which from my understanding is an in-character thing) was given in response to an OOC thread about voting on the forums. I honestly think way too much OOC already bleeds into the game via for…
That's just one of the drawbacks of the holywar system, which I (and others) have been trying to point out. Even the holywars declared with a legit reason are generally speaking not fun. The whole surrender mechanism is just one part of it; sitting …
We could all just do what the Dreikathi did, whatever that was. Anyway, I think religion is really important in RPG settings. Having beliefs, upholding them, spreading them, defending them, and even suffering for them just is a really good way to cr…
While declaring holywar is the only way for a mortal to in any way attack a God, the God in question will just carry on as normal while the people in their Order dies a lot and then spends thirty minutes or so per shrine they are going to reraise.
