  I've made it through the first two days with no caffeine or refined sugar. I've had a Dr. Pepper/sugar habit for quite a while. My nutritionist said that I can drop 40 pounds in two months just by cutting out soda. Its been an interesting two days. I'm told the first 72 are the hardest.

  After months and months of nothing, I got not just one, but -three- job interviews today. One of which is about 10 dollars an hour more than I was hoping for, possibly more (it's base + commission sales), with full benefits. If I land one of these three, I have one more month of absurd poverty and then I can get back to stability. 
  
  Oh, and two of the three would let me go back to school during the day. I'd be -gone- all day, but I'd be moving towards my real goal of obtaining a doctorate in nanotech, yanno, before I'm 70.

Week and a half left till next payday, and I have 1 bill to pay and then I'm getting internet and buying as much groceries/good beer as possible. No more Ramen, no more Keystone, no more being bored after work.

  2- I bought myself a new shiny mechanical device yesterday. (iPod. Mine was dying.)
  3- Only a few weeks until Ren Faire.

  5- I was hesitant, I admit. But being back is good for me. Distracted by plots and mischief IC, my mind has less time to wander OOC.

  I found four pairs of pants that almost fit me. Just need to wear them a bit and see if they'll work. But four in one store at the same time is amazing for me. I hate clothes shopping.

  I've never really been a person to get involved in Trading Card Games, but after watching a Youtube video of some Magic: The Gathering stuff I've slowly become more interested.
  
  I don't know if I'm going to get serious about it, but I am very pleased that I just ordered my very first Fat Pack to start me off. Theros edition or whatever. Should be fun.

  At my second, really successful interview, I found out that this job is also in the 50k and up annual salary range. So is the job I'm on interview #2 for tomorrow.

  I smashed the interview and was offered a job at my second choice employer. I'm still waiting to hear back from the company I'd prefer to work for. I have a position in the bag paying 50k annual salary, with excellent benefits, starting October 23.
