@Eleanor - No, I get where you're coming from, and you've not really ever been one of the ones that I'm generally referring to. My issue is the subset of players, some who are of the 'RP clique' and some who are of the 'idle in guards' clique who, for whatever reason, consistently mouth off\make public posts generally act like they're going to oppose what I do IC'ly...

... and then they don't back it up. If you call me out and I respond, I'm not then going to sit in my city. I'm going to come fight you, whether I win or lose. But don't toss out insults, telling me to shut up, or generally be abrasive towards me unless you're prepared to deal with the consequences of the action.

Honestly, I was hoping -someone- would try and claim my bounties, but that just didn't happen. I didn't really try to fight back overmuch, as the goal was to get those who like PK to come after me for the bounties.

Unfortunately, there's apparently no one left that cares to try to PK me (save Tina) or I've beat the game and there's no one left willing to try (save Haedyn).

I would fight you more if I had time to play more often. Recently been super busy, and when I do want to try and come start stuff, your hood stops me from finding you! =p

I don't even care when Dask raids the city, because I go, 'Oh man this is so annoying I have to go to the barracks and enter one command and everything's back to normal again minus an imperceptible dip in our squillion-gold city funds.'

Of course I don't even have to enter the command, as I'm not a SecMin. I'm just being theoretical here.

I think a big part of it has to do with the hood of obscurity that you've got to be honest. Lets say a player wants to PK you, unless they have a hood themselves, they either have to enlist the help of someone with a hood, challenge you and let you know they're coming, or pretty much give up on being able to find you. Combat is difficult enough without having an opponent that is literally impossible to find without a 2000 credit artifact.

Eh, with the new Cryptic Chest artifacts being ganked is more or less impossible anyways. I'm pretty sure Daskalos has no problem with making his whereabouts known if someone actually wants to go duel him.

I've advocated removing the hood on -more- than one occasion. The only reason I maintain mine is so that I can sense other people with hoods. I have zero problem with losing that.

I rage that I broke my ankle and it led to me having two endgame characters. I can't DO anything and my ass is loosing all sensation- maybe forever. Sitting this much can not possibly be good for a person.

Why are people making big events in the middle of the night before Monday? At least if it's friday or saturday, europeans can attend, but people have to get up monday morning, you know, and it's just not possible to attend lengthy events days before work/school. Ugh. One more missed event due to geography..

If this is regarding the little Dhar event, since it was scheduled for 'around' the Howling, we can try to make sure it begins far more on the sooner side than the later side.

Coordinating events can be quite difficult on our end since some of us don't have stable Mon-Fri schedules. Trust me, oppressing our euro crowd isn't a major point on our agenda.

I really hate and rage at the fact that my sleep patterns are altered by my job. I've typically been the work late, stay up until 4 am playing Aetolia, sleep until noon type for most of my adult life. This waking up at 9 am crap sucks.

That would be great, but there's a big chance I won't be able to stick around for the whole event. With my new schedule, I will have to get up at 6am, howling is at 1am. <.< But I might be able to be there for a little bit!
