Ashmer's been known to loose his horribly ugly laugh over a tell more than once, which I do love, or I'll use something to convey his tone, like, *in an edged hiss*.

I've always assumed tells are like telepathic communication, delivering all of the tone, inflection and mood that could be discerned if someone were standing in a pitch-black room with you, or on the phone. (Only, more intimate than on the phone, 'cause it's harder to hide stuff when you're exchanging telepathic communication)

My Ankyrean Anguish is people who are needlessly unpleasant in OOC communication. If we were all sitting around a game board in someone's living room together, there'd be more than one fist fight and the cops would have already been called. I feel a kind of camaraderie with you, the only people that actually understand this crazy thing I spend 7-12 hours a day coding on/playing, and when someone's just downright vitriolic, it's really disappointing.

I used to love crafting. I rarely do it these days, as the rejections are far more nitpicky than they used to be and it's just tiring having stuff returned 6 times because you didn't explicitly mention that there's NOT a mattress in your bed or you used a normal feather in the comms when you mentioned a swan or you mention that something is the color gold and people insist you have to add the goldbar comm because of that...yet things like rings slide through with the removed message on the worn or the attire accidentally groping everyone who looks at it. I find crafting far less fun that I used to.

Pretty sure we were recently told to back off of the whole rejecting-for-not-using-a-specific-thing, since people have gotten waaaay too picky about rejection/approval. Basically, if people are rejecting for the things you say, there's something wrong.

I rage so, so hard over the new HG changes. With the addition of the swarm to the fracture, there really is a good chance you may die if you get bad luck while in there - and with the new HG item changes, if you were holding an item, it resets before you're done with death sequence (even if you have spirit_anchor), and you can't go back in again for like 2 hours. Huzzah, I got to kill all of like 4 eld with the bough before both swarms converged on me. This was a good use of my time. -_-

I rage at the Fracture. I love bashing there, but the danger almost outweighs the benefits...sometimes it completely does. Having -every- eld in there be aggro and wander around is hard enough, having everyone be open PK (with an arti that notifies you of people entering) makes it harder. Those two alone, sure...that makes it a hardy challenge, but not insurmountable if you're paying attention and can take care of yourself.

Adding the colossal eld swarm...eh, that got nasty. It could walk in while you're fighting two or three eld, and then BAM things would get super nasty super fast...or you would walk in and hit it by mistake...or you could go in specifically hunting for it, but would have to deal with the 1-5 aggro eld that would randomly join in the fight (a fight that's -never- over quickly, mind you, giving them plenty of time to respawn and wander in). All that, PLUS the fact that if you hit the swarm just once and manage to get away (lightform, flying, etc), the bugger would chase you ALL OVER THE ENTIRE AREA and he would track your butt down until you left or died. That made the Fracture nasty.

...but c'mon, adding ANOTHER colossal eld swarm? It's damn near impossible now, it's certainly not fun anymore. Now I have to watch out for the elds, the PK trolls, and TWO colossal swarms? Now it's so damn dangerous that if I get any indication someone is coming after me, I bail. If I hit the colossal swarm just once or see it come into my room, I bail (I used to try to find or carve out a safe corner and see if I could get the HONORS line). Sometimes I'm in the area a whole of three minutes, killing less eld than I can count on two hands before I have to leave because it's damn near impossible to handle ONE thing going wrong, let alone more than one.

C'mon man, that's just not a fun area anymore.

There's a lot of rp opportunity surrounding my character right now.

But between work and real life, I don't feel at -all- motivated to rp beyond the surface interactions. When I log into the game, I just want to code, spar, maybe pk at some foci..

That's my rage. The rp available to me is perhaps the richest it's been in a very long time, and I just.. can't get into it. I find myself feeling annoyance at being interrupted in whatever task I'm involved in, and yet I don't want to do/say something that'll harm Daingean's presence when I snap out of this weird funk.

That happened to me the last time I tried to fracture. And by try to fracture I just darted down so Demion could get the line for making a trigger with the ebilartifactofalerting, and swarm was in the room I went to, so I tried to dash out and I ran into the other swarm, and then I died.

In a hundred and one pages, I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I loathe when personalities clash and people start sniping at each other OOC about conflicts in game. I've seen this happen twice in three days, and almost watched it happen again a little while ago. People, Aetolia is nothing but a story we're telling each other. It's okay to be genuinely upset about some of the things that happen in it - that's what makes it compelling - but at the end of the day it's make believe. Get up, go for a run, have a stiff drink, do whatever you have to do. But don't let something as ultimately meaningless as this cause you to lash out at other people. It's unbecoming.

On a lighter note, Zaephlyn's sig never fails to make me laugh. I've seen that gif a hundred times and I never get tired of it. Ever.

Hi im Taelin, long time listener, first time Rage.

I rage that for some reason, some folks cant keep RP clean, and between the involved parties. No, instead they get butt hurt because they got "spied" on and turn around and complained to everyone and their grandmother to try and get you in trouble. Now, instead of having to deal with issues between the two and possibly three parties, now a city and a guild are involved?

History: Tae see's a recent ex fiancé (who had just left him two months back with little explanation) running around and decides to see what she is up to. Tae uses Telepathy to listen in. Tae gathers information and a bit later, starts the RP using mind hallucinations. This went on for a bit and then turned into regular conversation when the other party, which ironicly enough was civil. The other party leaves and everything is seemingly on a good note.

Log back in today to find a city upset because Tae used Telepathy, and a guild upset because of the same....REALLY?

Ok, that is all, just needed to get that off my chest. Back to your normal programming.

First of all, have the balls to ask IC not harass people OOC to get information that you'd probably attempt to use against them IC if you can't even keep the two separate to start with.
