When I joined indorani I had to join spinesreach before I could use the skills because I was still tethered to the spirit side.. and some hobo jumped me while being classless (because I gave up my lifer class and couldn't learn or use indorani skills) while joining spinesreach...

Your class is instantly disabled in that instance. At least that's what I was told. So you'd be stuck in Carnifex while in the Luminary guild unable to switch to Luminary class.

You cannot switch to that class with your current tethering. << is what happens so as Haven said

Most people want to get fimilar with the guild before begging a city to join (not begging but get the point)

There's also people who don't want to join a city at all, which, IMO side-switching should be viable without. Not that I side-switch, I just make new alts. >.> But. I don't think it'd be unreasonable to have guilds switch the person's tether also.

The only time it's an issue is when the person joins either Sentaari or Syssin, since neither guild has an aligned class. any other guild is tethered.

See, I think that's silly too. Why should the guild suffer when the class doesn't? There's one exception per side - Syssin, and Sentaari. That's even, and you'll likely almost never see people flocking to either guild to abuse the tethering exception.

You know what'd be cool? If PROBEing a player gave you a short little two-line descriptor. The player could add as many as they'd like, and every time someone probed them, they'd get a random message.

It'd be for little things not worth bloating your description with, but still noteworthy. Maybe your face is bloody or your hands dirty or whatever.

Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Can 'mountable' mounts not be able to be targetted when targetting horse, the amount of times I kill my donkey, stallion etc etc when bashing three rock for gold and kill my mount is fecking annoyying..

so Please Please Please Can any mountable mount not be able to be targetted by HORSE or change the names of three rock horses to, IMAHORSE! lol..

Donkey's aren't subject to the targeting of 'horse'. That's specifically why Haven rides a donkey and not one of those fancy BL mounts. That and they're dirt cheap. I do agree with you though. It'd be nice if ALL mount names were changed to just 'mount', leaving just their descriptions/short descriptions/etc left to be customizeable.

I normally target by number but I was hunting with someone showing them quests to make gold.. @Omei I targetted horse, and critted his stallion .. Can we make crits not work on mounts then? Either would work as 1 hit isnt going to kill a stallion unless its an annihilating!

@Nalor: Like @Haven said, there are other mounts than horses. I've had characters choosing a ram instead of a horse for just that reason. Camels are also good and donkeys and mules are cheep, I believe.

Because WE hunted Horses and targetting horse kills stallions! ITs like saying Admin please delete Stalliosn so no one can buy them so we can kill them accidently while bashing

Yeah. You shouldn't need to turn into a desert nomad or a humble friar or a strange mountain hobbit in order to avoid hitting a mount. Of course, the pain of horses and mounts in general is part of the reason I just get dash and skip it all.

Rule of thumb, don't have a mount out in general in a area designed to kill horses.

My system dismounted me and sent my mount back to El'jazira stables every time I hit my bashing attack. It started because you can't bash lycan mounted, but I found it really helped me out in the long run.

yes I have that for monk/daru/Lycan but Teradrim, Indorani, You can mount while bashing so no need to.. and as i said before I target by number but I was showing someone the gold quests and cant show them it by targetting numbers.. so I targetted horse and CRITICAL hit his mount

I swear why does a simple thing always turn into bitching when it comes to forums!

Pretty certain making mountable mounts uncritable (which is the main issue) would be way easy or.. putting mountable mounts not targetting by horse would be much simpler then the page its caused!

In the spirit of getting away from 'blessings are a right' mindset, maybe let endgame miasma/warmth/whatever cancel out that obnoxious effect monuments have, where you can move 1 room between every Half-Life release?
