By that logic, since my Chaos Lord isn't that great and it's only real use is for lessers or being a general tank, I think that if I've sunk 5000+ credits into a subclass (and countless hours bashing), I should be able to viably PK in it. That's kind of the cut of the land though, isn't it? Some classes can do some things others can't. You roll with what you get. You want to fight as Shapeshifter, then SECT ACCEPT as Shapeshifter.
I'm with Saidenn, Ardent and Elene though, switching to Shifter mid-fight is in complete contrast to the spirit of a good fight.
Whatever class you're in when you hit SECT ACCEPT is the class you fight in. That's the risk you take when you fight in Sect. You fight with what you're active in.

There... is no way I haven't posted on this yet. Holy hell. Oh, the murderous doggo of Spinesreach! Aya's adopted brother and probably her biggest criticizer! There have been many, many fun interactions between the two, even when at each other's throats! I love every conversation they have and every bit of RP we have together! Even if the doggo is a giant stick in the mud when Aya is just trying to have a good time! WORK ON THAT!

I've always thought there should be sub conflicts that happen within larger ones such as majors/orreries/ctf. Every conflict always boils down to who can bring the most numbers in some way or the other. Individual skill on a small scale hardly ever has meaning. Even where the CTF is concerned, it's 20v20, each time split into 10/10 attack defending. Still ultimately just a giant clusterF.
A loose example of sub-objectives i'd enjoy is something like at a Major, there's side areas of contention that close/open periodically. When they open, you can either have random pools of people that get sucked into them based on tether/team, or the team can designate who gets chosen by voting/marking them somehow. This opens up small skirmishes like 1v1's, 2v2's and 3v3's that have impact on the larger objective happening outside, such as (in the case of 3 lessers) a portion of each tick gets stolen for the winning team, or there's a chance that elds/minors you kill/extract(ylem field and onslaught) go to the winners on the sub objective.
I think the sub-rewards should be things that deny or hinder the main reward in some capacity, or even claiming some rewards for yourself/team but not necessarily to give the winners more buffs/advantages. This way if 5 people show up to a major with 13 people, they can do things to earn some rewards for themselves and deny the enemy a full victory.
Players tend to feel helpless when what they do doesn't feel that impactful, and the larger teamfights tend to get, the less impactful one feels as an individual. At the same time, I do not believe 1 player should be able to run circles around several times their number with hardly any effort.

I am calling you a unicorn oocly and I am calling your char a unicorn. I am not asking you to apologize for ic stuff. I am asking you to apologize for spreading unicorn about my char that simply isn't true. I think you need to read stuff a few times before actually responding, so you get stuff right. If there is any shred of proof that Konn's ganked newbs and noosed random people, since you kept track of stuff, I would like to see it. Send it over in a msg. If you can prove me wrong, I will fess up.

I have a proposal! I have divine sight so Chameleon and offplane can't lie to me. I'll just check update my wholist (without using GMCP so it's not lied to >:() every time a lesser gets tapped, 5 minutes later, 10 minutes later, 15 minutes later.
If, after a month or two, the numbers are pretty much even, can we just never mention number of people online being a factor again? 8^)
