Teramasce is my favourite horrible little man. Literally the worst. Absolute gremlin. (Go out of your way to interact with him, he's wonderful )
On a more serious note, both you and your character are among my all-time favs to roleplay with. The way you write Tera is beautiful and nuanced beyond belief. A guaranteed delight to interact with every time. Scenes with Tera are beyond mercurial, yet always convey the feeling that he's two steps away from revealing his secret identity as a fey prince and then showing you a contract you signed in blood ten years ago.
Ahhh, Maeve's favorite Childer, the prodigal princess of taxidermy.
Paxe entered the Bloodloch scene subtly and with such grace. She has become an absolute staple in my roleplay diet. I can scarcely recall what life was like before her existence. This elegant creature is all vespertine beauty and morbid delight, and her player has skillfully woven a character with depths that I have only just begun to fathom. Each interaction with her reveals a little more, unspools a twisted bit of intrigue that leaves you hungry for the next.
Not only are you a magnificent storyteller, but your creativity and ability to wordsmith is truly a joy to be part of, whether it be through roleplay with you or getting my hands on those amazing designs of yours. I'm very excited to see what's in store for Paxe, as her story is only just beginning and yet I feel like she has come so very far. Thank you for allowing Maeve (and me) to be a part of it!
Once upon a time this dude named Teramasce waltzed into Bloodloch, all feathery and masky, and incredibly VEXING....
Oranges....
In all seriousness, I'm continually in awe at not only your creative skill as a writer, but your ability to masterfully weave a story that touches so many characters and enriches their roleplay as well as your own. When your character enters a room, one cannot help but NOTICE him, whether he is subtly sprinkling his particular flavor around the room or imbuing the scene with theatrical flair. I have said, and will again, that he is very much -the- embodiment of a bard in my mind. Layers upon layers upon layers. So many it would make an onion cry.
While my character may scream (aloud, or internally) anytime Tera is near, behind the scenes I am most assuredly gobbling up whatever he's offering on this epicurean platter of roleplay delight and most likely cackling. If I could, I would probably just stalk him and watch all the shenanigans he gets up to (I mean what?!? He's innocent).
Thank you for the absolute chaos and undeniable fun you bring the game. I can't wait to see what develops for this multifaceted creature!
First, the writer. You are, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the very finest crafters of words that I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. Every emote, every tell, description and item you design is a masterpiece of literary creativity and care, with any piece I could choose at random being guaranteed to be worthy of being framed. I've re-read a very large number of your emotes for the sheer enjoyment of it many times, and have no doubt that I will continue running my greedy eyeballs over the exquisite craftsmanship of your work without ever even coming close to being sated. You have a striking ability to understand the flow and nuance of character dynamics, and your ability to utilise that to prod and poke for maximum effect is a marvel to behold.
The character is one of my absolute favourites in all of fiction. She is so unreservedly herself in all ways at all times, it's impossible not to be charmed by her, even (especially) when she is doing awful, terrible things. I've seen a lot of people play evil characters over the decades, and it's very rare for someone to be able to strike the balance between a believable person and leaning too far into capital E Evil that they come off as cartoonish - You manage this with effortless aplomb. Maeve is a larger than life entity that I could read an entire series about and still be impatient for more, and every time she struts into a scene she has an immediate and potent impact via sheer presence alone.
Also she is Teramasce's favourite person to annoy, which has been enormous fun to play out with you - You're a fantastic sport, and it's immensely gratifying to roleplay with someone that understands the importance of give and take. Looking forward to more, more, and more.
Still absolutely one of my favorite, and accidental friend, to have random interactions with. He makes it very easy to just walk up and talk or do anything randomly and he plays along so well - not intimidating or standoffish or awkward at all.
It's always fun, even when they're just hiding away in Lleis temple to be quiet.
Eaku has grown so much and he makes it easy to see the depth and complexity of his personality. Keep it up!
