You should try Ascendril. Half the effects have a very short duration and those that don't are actually only on half the time, with no way for you to tell if they're actually working.

HELP DECEIT and AB subterfuge/assassination/hypnosis is a good place to get started into the wide world of syssinology. There is a counter to every sneaky tactic a syssin has, the only limit is your own diligence. That's all you're gettin out of me coppers!This is why I have three eye sigils orbiting me. MAXIMUM SCARE FACTOR.Also, just the act of wielding an eye sigil will be enough to scare a Syssin off usually.True. After being mostly RP inactive for a bit, I really love how much use the think system is getting nowadays. It really helps to drive scenes and helps us facilitate the RP you have going on/the direction you want to go. Also, obviously we're RL people in the Pools, so we often won't OOCly know things that our IC vessels should, and think is just such an elegant, amazing way to communicate hints to us as well.
Even if some stuff doesn't get explicitly picked up on in the current session, rest assured we're seeing them all and will probably tie it together in future sessions.

Feel somewhere in the middle here. I understand how taxing it is to get through customized things, but I also feel much more attached to my character when I can express her through cool stuff. I don't know what the solution is but I can't help thinking what a cool problem this is for Aetolia that so many people feel this passionate about the game that it's overwhelming to get through all the requests.

This for sure feels like it could be bad for the game health though, constantly see players raving about how cool their custom stuff is, showing it off, etc. It's a HUGE value add and one of the major things that makes people feel attached to their characters is having cool unique stuff. Hope this gets worked out soon.

People who get straight up in your ear after losing a fight in game, complaining and cussing you out but you can't tell whether it's intended to be an OOC or IG tell.I have a similar sort of peeve, but for when people win. I've had experiences with a handful of people across IRE who'll immediately start telling you what you did wrong, without you even saying so much as a word to them afterwards. I'm sure they think they're coming across as helpful, but if I don't ask there's a solid chance that either
- a) I already know or
- b) Am capable of figuring it out myself.
Either way it really just makes you seem like an obnoxious dick.
If someone asks, by all means help them out. If they don't ask, then a simple "Good fight." works, even if you know it wasn't. Or just staying silent.

Sometimes I feel lost. I'm afraid to let my guild down, my friends, and hell even letting myself down.
I go through periods where I feel like I am on top of the world, and I love my writing.... Other times? I don't feel like I write as well (or as I perceive it as well) as I do and I get gunshy on pulling various rp triggers...
But even with that being said, I am eternally thankful for those who do rp with me when I'm in those low spots and continue to make this game and world fun

I feel like all the people I grew up playing aetolia with these past 12 years are all having kids, gettin married, and its an eerie remind that i'm getting ooooooooold.
