Stine has been an instrumental part of Rhine's life. He's one of the few characters that I can see very clearly in my head, mostly due in part to your amazing roleplaying skills and writing. Every interaction I've ever had with him, even the small day-to-day/slice of life ones, leaves me with the impression of who he is as a character in the stories we get to write with each other. On the outside looking in, he is a strong, driven man and usually has no qualms about speaking his mind, but as you get to know him there are all these twists and turns that make roleplaying with you a very special experience. You have given me so many opportunities and ways to challenge Rhine and force her out of her comfort zone, for which I am very grateful. The stories we have written and the bonds of friendship between our characters have kept me logging in again and again for more.
So, in short, thank you for giving him to the Aetolian community. You - as a player - have not only assisted many players in making the Aetolian experience better but through Stine, you have given us a complex character that I am still learning more and more about even after almost 2 years of roleplay.

I was avoiding this, because it feels a bit like salting wounds, but this does keep going...
No election in the last month or two would have changed without vote weight. Anyone who won by points also won by popular vote. Vote weight tends to be a binary thing, it's either minimum or maximum, so it tends to average out to nbd. So, other than novel voting systems like Approval/Ranked, removing vote weight would change nothing except perception, so I'm inclined to keep it.

Getting rid of vote weight means this can be abused much more easily. Seeing players suddenly log in and idle to inflate their vote weight can be issued and countered by the admins, at least.
Losing a weighted vote election might hurt, but it's much more preferable to alts/inactive players logging in suddenly or candidates ingratiating themselves to newbies. The players who are online more often presumably have more insight into the nature and qualifications of the candidates.
I see more opportunity for abuse if weighted votes are discarded.

What do you find most engaging/inviting when it comes to spontaneous RP moments?If I drop in spontaneously, chances are I have nfc what is going on. So I love it when people use the think function to weave in context on what I just walked in on.

2. Not twerk, but one time we were discussing quests and somehow the conversation turned to brainstorming a quest where you had to brush someone's back hair. And then we looked at the brush emote and it was all ew icky kissy emote. So I progged up a global emote replacer for gods that replaced the default brush emote with one about brushing back hair.
A bit of background, when Celani/Gods are invis mortal characters can't see their emotes. Any time you're in a super serious RP event with a vis Pools member, chances are there's at least one other Pools member sitting there invis, spamming lewd emotes and generally being a nuisance.
So a Celani just passed noobdom and vis'd on Slyphe for the first time ever. Big moment, lotta nerves, etc. Naturally, I show up and brush Slyphe's back hair.
Except, being a progged emote and not a real one, it wasn't hidden from players. So, in the middle of Slyphe's triumphant return, this poor Celani's first time ever being vis, I spammed a room of 10+ players with:
Tedrunai brushes Slyphe's back hair until it is gloriously silky and untangled.

I see big strides in the game as of late. I feel it important to state that considering the staff sees a lot of negative posts. The level of engagement feels strong and I see a lot of effort on the admin/volunteer side for producing meaningful content. So a big big thank you to the staff paid and unpaid. Special thanks to people for helping me get to 200, that is rough and tough journey. @Rhyot , @Ayukazi , @Borminchia , @Mjoll , @Zenobia, @Nisavi , @Desidora, @Ehtias , @Rihrin. This one may shock you, but a special thanks to @Iazamat , he is my new RP mentor. Yes, mind blown. I will eventually take some of you up on your offers to get better at RP, @Elene , @Rijetta . I am sure I have forgot some of you, but you are still important. Big big BIG thanks to @Iosyne , wow. You made this fun enough for me to want to RP.
