After a lot of back and forth, I've been given permission by @Tiur to share what the -ship skillset is due to the number of great guesses in this thread. You guys deserve it.
Very intelligent person. They bring an excitement to combat that is infectious. I view her as an adorable killer, if that is even a thing. Seems sweet, until you are dead, which I can appreciate. Solid loyalty and worries me a bit that she is always holding dead bodies.
Some things may look pretty basic sneaky rogue stuff, but the rest tries to add better context for sneakery. Oh, and I visualized Seurimas being basically Judah for a while/kinda still.
Echoing that this was really difficult, I probably haven't done justice to all of the numerous sights, sounds, and thoughts that have gone into Sib over the years, yet I'm still really happy with this!
I think this is kinda just becoming back and forth. At the moment, we'll let the mystery dates continue, hoping for the best. Issue if a problem comes of it, and we'll deal with it then. While I do like to head off problems before they happen, I try not to kill new features entirely because they could be abused. Were that the case, we would have no emotes or says.
Considering how the curse event concluded I'm a little sad we're so quick to jump onto the next cool idea the admins have put out and tear it down. Can we give it some time? I've had so much fun it's such a unique experience so far.
All these concerns are valid but there's a lot of checks in place and I also find the idea of impersonating someone an interesting form of role play. Your characters should be going in with the assumption that all is not what it seems in the first place, considering it's all anonymous!
It seems a few weren't aware of all the mechanics and checks already in place to prevent abuse, so please, try it out before you claim the sky is falling. It's actually really great.
As respectfully as I can say it, this is a level of paranoia that we can't really accommodate. There are many far more effective methods to accomplish character assassination and, given that in this particular mechanic it's both against the rules (including indirect impersonation) and it's very easy for us to check, trying to use the system like this would be pretty stupid. If somebody wanted to go through the trouble of sending fake interactions/accusations why even bother to use this system first? Forged and anonymous letters can be sent without the hassle of breaking rules in this system.
There's a no-doubt mechanic to reveal your identity so players can fact check themselves about claims. This is on top of admin policing. While the participants are anonymous to each other, neither is anonymous to the Pools.
The feature has not even been given a chance to be enjoyed. It is strictly said that you cannot impersonate another person, even your own alts, so if someone does, that's issuable. As it stands, this appears to be a way for people to create roleplay in a way that is outside their norm, inviting character growth, cross-tether roleplay, and other forms of roleplay that someone may have in mind for their character that said character may not do if their name is known.
If the community is so toxic and so self-destructive as not to be able to support anonymity on an in-character (not OOC, like the Cursed channel tended to be half the time) form of communication that is entirely localized, not global, and not even targetable in emotes (and premotes are not allowed), then... I don't know. There will be self-destructive people and toxic people, but if every bar is set at the "What is the most vile thing our players can do", then I'd just tell the Admin team to turn in their hats and go home, the dream is dead.
