Oh, right. There's this guy who started that whole "HROAGH!" thing and it became an emote.
That was me and I'm devastated it's orglocked behind being a Spirean. It was originally an Infernal thing and I die a little inside each time I hear you guys shout it.
Lin coined "godspit and shit," to the point that I've seen other characters use it, which I gotta say - the guilt is real, because I absolutely ripped the phrase out of China Mieville's Perdido Street Station like 12 years ago
I've been trying to remember how Kaia and Jhura first met, and I -think- it was from me showing up to random lessers and trying to keep up with target calling while I just spammed lighting as a shaman novice, and you poking me to see how I was doing with it all and being -APPALLED- when I told you the only kind of system I had was a target follower I pulled over from Achaea and kinda forced to work. Then I got yeeted into the Sunder discord and I think Kaia just kinda adopted Jhura? From that point she was just always THERE and it felt so natural, like yeah, this is my best friend, why wouldn't she be in my life? As much as I've enjoyed my time here, I honestly don't know if I would have stayed past the first few weeks if it wasn't for Kaia, and she(and you) are definitely 99% of the enjoyment that I get out of it all. And now they're sisters! That moment of getting adopted into the Gallants was the highlight of that year for her, and probably the next few as well.
Infinite amounts of love for our mysterious Celani benefactor and the creative force behind all the mysterious goings on in Spinesreach/the Archivists. I really appreciate your attention and your willingness to stick around as everyone decided to do ALL THE THINGS. You're a champ who gave us way more than we deserved. I appreciate you sooooo much!
Equally infinite amounts of love for the Archivists. I am very glad I decided to dust off my pocket protector and return to Nerdville. Y'all are fantastic. Thank you thank you thank you for being so awesome, such incredible writers, and so engaging to be involved with.
Oh, as someone told me edits are for cowards. I was also thinking of a minor tweak to Orrery. Give the orb holder a big delayed movement, like that one change to celerity when you had lots of weight, it would really hamper your movement. The new strategy is for the globe holder to run like nuts and just play keep away. To me, just not very fun. There are some really great runners, no ill will to them, but it has gotten so bad that I don't even want to attend them anymore. Keep away, while a valid strategy, just takes away from the actual conflict.
Since it's been a while since the last time I posted: Big Mentor is 10/10 Would RP Again When Time is Available
I didn't quite expect something big to sprout up after their first encounter in Djeir - they had their own circles and their own things to do, though the few times the two crossed paths has been enjoyable. Then Pieri comes back after a long sleep and things just HAVE to change for her to feel back in her skin... and Roux is just there, still the Dhie and still willing to help when she was in need of it, greatly.
Even before the memory fiddling, Pieri's found Roux to be a source of support, and while she is usually willing to return any help she was given she is a little more invested in what happiness her wonderful mentor might derive from her actions. Because she genuinely likes them and feels they are someone she can trust, if slowly. Someday she might even come out and call Roux her friend outright! I'm curious to see what sort of dynamic the two might have, both being fairly earnest and mostly having had serious scenes together.
That time Pieri officially got into the Illuminai with all the light shows from Roux was one of the highest points I've had during our sessions. Your writing is always a joy to read.
