What an absolutely masterfully crafted character. I can and will sing their praises to the highest heavens, for so many reasons. First, uniqueness of concept. Qelres is not just different, they're different in a visceral way, one that demands a reaction. They're like a walking litmus test of an RPer's ability to react to the world in a genuine way. And it's not just passive- it's active. You go out of your way to place other characters in situations that make them confront their internal ethics, beliefs, viewpoints.
It is superb.
And on top of that, you do it with such astonishing style and panache. Your emotes are gorgeous, your attention to detail unparalleled, and the way you hold other people to high standards of RP- not by shaming them for not meeting it but by rewarding them with exceptional scenes if they do- is without compare.
Not to mention the way you encourage new characters through interaction and esteems- you were the very first esteem I ever got on both Aolin and Irys (and a couple of unnamed alts that came and maybe went and who can say), and it was so freaking encouraging.
And that's not even getting in to how complicated and incredibly rewarding to explore the friendship between Qel and Ao has been. That's a whole other rave.
You are a treasure, a sticky yucky wonderful treasure. Never change.

Thanks for all the insightful and civil answers, @Saidenn , @Xavin , @Sryaen ! I think the path tracking config would be a great solution for most of these issues.

As for the fun subject many have grown so fond of:
I didn't mean to attack anyone with this post, hence why I haven't really called anyone in particular out with it, because I am only on my own side of it all. Didi is a friend and I hate seeing her get so down to the point now that I don't know if she is going to be around for a while. I can definitely say the Shadow tether players who are friends of hers can be overly zealous with their protectiveness of her ICly and OOCly, including myself to a degree and that is definitely a fault of our own.
There has been a lot of he says, she says and my only POV is from the Shadow Tether and then whatever I see posted in the forums which generally seems to devolve into heated insults being flung from both sides while nothing really seems to be accomplished.
On behalf of myself, I apologize for any negativity I have thrown out into our community and hope that we can all work better together (Spirit and Shadow OOC) towards providing an understanding and fun community for everyone to be a part of. Then we can murder each other IC with no fear of grief

Okay. So, Sry is one of the people I enjoy RPing with guiltily - he has so much depth and Kai is such a -dork- that I enjoy subjecting him to her enthusiasm. They've had some cute interactions and the one Very Serious interaction - which I enjoyed shamefully. It's been a -long- time since I've been anxious about roleplaying with someone, since I've wondered if I'm doing the scene right or meeting my partner's expectations. I look forward to more RP with Sry!

Since favours are now extraneous, I was wondering if there could be an addition of FAVOURLOG <person> or FAVOURLOG for the self, so that people can look back and remember what they were favoured for before and feel cherished.Cherished? Are guildfavors not meant to be used to immortalize others' schadenfreude? Because a non-trivial percentage of mine were for (1) losing a duel with Ethne and (2) blowing myself up during the assault on El'Jazira... >:{
Kind of like how you can do ESTEEM VIEW.

Unfortunately I usually play at silly times when Aetolia is largely asleep, but I've now interacted with like THREE whole people (including though tells) I figured I'd throw this out there.

I have added a new Guildmaster ability, RANKSET. It allows you to set someone's guildrank to anything 1-5. Once someone has exceeded rank 1 you may not set their rank back to 1 and disenfranchise them. Otherwise it is without code based limitation.
Abuse it and you'll grow leaves.
Guildfavors and Guilddisfavors are a bit extranneous now. Continue using them however you please, and I'm open to ideas for them to maintain usefulness. Maybe we can delete disfavors and attach guild credit rewards to favors, or make them some sort of toggle that shows in honors to other guildmates "So and So is shown great favor in your guild." Or something.

I'll add into this, too: As a person who has had to, in the past, step back/retire from a game while actively in a position of 'leadership', the org will survive without you. It may not seem like it, or it may seem like it may degenerate, but it will be fine without you. You are more important than any org in any game. Your well-being and mental health are worth so so so much more. So while it can feel like 'quitting' or 'giving up' it is not. Do what is right for you first, the game will manage. It always does.

Oh, as someone told me edits are for cowards. I was also thinking of a minor tweak to Orrery. Give the orb holder a big delayed movement, like that one change to celerity when you had lots of weight, it would really hamper your movement. The new strategy is for the globe holder to run like nuts and just play keep away. To me, just not very fun. There are some really great runners, no ill will to them, but it has gotten so bad that I don't even want to attend them anymore. Keep away, while a valid strategy, just takes away from the actual conflict.I can probably make it so holding an orrery globe reduces celerity. Makes sense to me.

So... the only real interaction between Roux and Ayastia... didn't go so well. That much is clear lol. However with this new step in her life hopefully they can get to understand one another a little better! While Aya's opinion didn't start out the greatest MOST of what she has heard of Roux is positive!

"What in the Pit", or "What the PIT!" was a very common phrase for Elene back in the Cabal. Substitute pit for every swear word. Oh PIT. You PITTING SON ON A GU-- BOW! To the pit with you! So on and so forth.
