Mrenadh has always been connected to glass and crystals. Maybe they could come up with a new technique and name this after their home? Mrenite, maybe?Safiya said:Tacking on one of my own desires:
Can we please introduce opalite as a crafting material to Aetolia?Opalite is a special man-made glass that is primarily blue but reflects colors of yellow, orange, pink, and occasionally green. Transparency ranges from cloudy (giving it more of a pale, milky color) to nearly transparent. It can be used to make cups, as focal points in jewelry, and even be chiseled like volcanic glass into small blades. My request is that it has a unique Aetolian name. I'd love to hear suggestions!
I didn't know where else to put this so I'm going to slot it here. This was a lovely surprise to find on the forums. Your nerves show, but that's okay. You know what they say about practice.
I've been out of work since March last year. The UK has bounced from lockdown to lockdown and unfortunately, the events industry that I work in has suffered tremendously. Since March last year I've managed to complete 3 gigs and many musicians and technicians I know have had to retrain or get new jobs elsewhere.
We're now nearly a year down the line and I'm still just about hanging on but I was always too nervous to do any recording or streaming from home like a lot of other musicians. For some reason, I can go out onto a stage in front of a few thousand people and be fine, however, the thought of recording and filming myself at home terrifies me.
I finally took the plunge last week and I wanted to share with you my second video that I've now put up. It's by no means perfect as I'm still getting used to the software, mixing and filming - none of which I've ever done before.
That being said I'm grateful for the support I've received from people who saw the first video and who have yet to see this next video. I'm grateful and want to show my love to the Aetolians that have been helping me through this last year and so I'm giving my fellow Aetolians an advanced look I guess! I hope you enjoy it!
