Relic storage system
I've added a new system for storing relic pieces under the RELIC command, allowing us to clean up the massive database bloat they cause by being actual items. You can still withdraw the pieces from this storage system into actual items, to trade and give away like before. Using this system also still preserves the piece's original loyalty mark.
RELIC PIECE CACHE
View pieces in stored in your relic piece cache.
RELIC PIECE DEPOSIT <piece>
Deposits a relic piece into the relic piece cache.
RELIC PIECE DEPOSIT ALL
Deposits all pieces in your inventory into the relic piece cache.
RELIC PIECE REMOVE <piece number> [MARKED|UNMARKED]
Withdraws a relic piece from the relic piece cache, turning it back into an item in your inventory. You can supply the optional marked or unmarked argument to only remove pieces that bear your mark, or pieces that bear none/someone else's.
RELIC PIECE REMOVE ALL <relic>
Similar to the above, but this removes ALL the pieces in your storage for the specified relic.
Do note that for now, you'll still need to withdraw relic pieces from the storage in order to assemble, reroll or trade them in.
If you have a lot of relic pieces in your inventory, please consider making use of this system to help us. Especially if you have 6000 pieces and it lags the game every time you check your inventory.

Upcoming Town Halls!
Hi everyone!
As per my introductory post, I've now scheduled two Town Hall meetings to take place in the next couple of days.
The first of these will be at 02:00 GMT on 21st August / 10PM EST 20th August.
The second is set for 19:00 GMT on Sunday 22nd August / 3PM EST.
Everyone is welcome to attend these and logs will be posted to the forums for anyone who misses out.
I have a list forming of major topics I plan to cover or expect to be asked about, but I'm really wanting these to be a two-way experience so bring your questions and your concerns.
I've been making some decent headway so far but there's still a lot to do and catch up on. I vastly appreciate the patience from everyone that has reached out to me and is still waiting for an answer - thanks for bearing with me.

Important Staff Changes
Hello Aetolians,
I have a significant staffing change to announce today.
IRE has decided to split ways with Tiur and we have hired Sam Kendall (Ictinus) as the new lead producer for Aetolia.
Ictinus (Sam) started his IRE experience on Aetolia several years ago and over time was hired to work on Achaea. He has been the right-hand man on Achaea for several years. He has significant experience in-game administration and is very skilled in helping others on the team succeed. Ictinus will be a 100% about-face in customer support, professionalism, and priorities for everyone. Sam is one of the most focused, hard-working individuals I know.
Based on my communications with players, one of the main concerns within Aetolia is the role play experience. Many of you consider the history, storyline, and events to be the defining feature of the game world. I know some are worried about a new producer damaging the unique Aetolian experience. Maintaining the story is a significant concern for myself, Razmael, Keroc, and Ictinus. We have spent a significant amount of time discussing how to immediately improve RP and events on Aetolia. I have seen concern about an outside person taking over RP on Aetolia. That is not the plan. One of Ictinus' main tasks will be to take work off of Razmael, to allow him to oversee events and roleplay. A plan is in place, but I will let Ictinus discuss how this will progress in his follow-up post and discussions with you.
It seems there is a feeling that monthly promotions are the main job and focus of the producer. This is not the case, but I can see how this impression was made on Aetolia. One of the main changes I would like to see on Aetolia is fixing that impression. Our philosophy is that a good game experience will lead to purchases. Development time on promotions should be secondary to creating those experiences.
Finally, any emails or messages you have sent to the admin should be resent to ictinus@aetolia.com. If you have any questions for me directly, you can email me at jeremy@ironrealms.com.
