You shout, "When three rocks fall on your head, the one that breaks won't leave you dead. When three
stones roll through your door, the one that's last will make you sore."

A lightning bolt streaks down from the skies, full of fury and anger.

The massive core of the Great Oak. (Duiran.) (25263) [-Haern-]
Flickers of vibrant green fire encase this gargantuan pillar rising up from the Heartwood, the
living core of the Great Oak visibly crackling with the energy of Dendara. The massive core shoots
up through the center of the tree, both existing and nonexisting in the sense that it collides with
foreign objects but passes through the various roots, limbs, and other aspects of the Great Oak as
if nothing more than ethereal vapor. The pillar dominates the landscape, visible for miles in all
directions as it shoots out through the canopy of the tree, and beyond to the sky far above. Where
the core erupts from the earth, the pillar is surrounded in a hazy, pale green fog, illuminated by
the dancing flames. Every once in awhile, a loud crack resounds from the pillar as white lightning
ripples over its surface, coursing over the length of the core with unbridled energy. A sigil in the
shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. There are 2 moss-grown wooden benchs here.
Resting on the ground is a cube-shaped silver sigil. Raest stands here, clasping a great spear in
his right hand as he overlooks the primordial heart of the Great Oak. A stout donkey stands
patiently by, waiting for a burden. A burly centaur stands sentinel, his hefty crossbow at the ready.
Torrents of water twist and shift around the watery form of an undine aquacaster here, masterfully
manipulating her element. Blending in nearly perfectly with her environs, a cloaked wilderness
warden waits here for potential trouble. Fell green energy emanates from the pulsing core of the
Great Oak, a massive pillar erupting from the earth to tower over the Heartwood. A large, blood-
splattered totem has been erected here, formed of obsidian, ivory and red-wood. Facing outwards and
surrounding the totem are a large ivory bear, an obsidian raven and a red-wood serpent. A Duiran
novice chest sits here, resembling an overgrown stump. A viridian satyr stamps his hooves over the
ground, muttering shamanic curses to himself here. A blackened pike painted with red war stripes
with the decapitated head of Lait has been erected. Coiling and shifting endlessly, a serpent spirit
hangs in the air. Raest, Hunter of the Heartwood is a tutor. View HELP LEARNING for more

You greet a donkey with a sincere smile.

Coarse dun fur covers the stout body of this donkey, from the tips of its long ears to its darker
grey hooves. Though lacking the classic grace of riding horses, the animal possesses undeniable
fortitude in its thick legs and muscular flanks.
A donkey looks weak and feeble.
It weighs about 375 pound(s).
It is loyal to Auxiliar Jideas.

A lightning bolt streaks down from the skies, full of fury and anger.

It is now midnight on Tisday, the 15th of Haernos, year 460 of the Midnight Age.

(Duiran): Tirria says, "And so another wonderful Tisday begins."

A lightning bolt streaks down from the skies, full of fury and anger.

(Duiran): You say, "With skyfire conjoining the sky to the great oak in fury!"

A lightning bolt streaks down from the skies, full of fury and anger.

The deepening night stands strong against the coming day as the moon traces its path across the sky.

(Duiran): You say, "Ah but to dance closer, there is no song to sing, to feel the natural force
course close and unbent. Just as well to wait in place for the tumult to strike you then to chase it
with abandon!"

You hear a suspicious whistling noise before a rock falls on your head. That's going to leave a
bruise.

You touch the bell tattoo.

You take out a salve of mending and quickly rub it on your head.
You messily spread the salve over your body, to no effect.

You may apply another salve to yourself.

Aishia scowls at the sky, but not with reproach, for she understands the ways of
such things.

Apparently the sky is scowling back; another rock whistles through the air, missing you by inches.
It lands with a thump on the ground beside you, breaking in two.

A lightning bolt streaks down from the skies, full of fury and anger.

A cloaked forestal warden blinks vacantly, staring at nothing in particular.

"Is it...raining rocks?" a cloaked forestal warden asks uncertainly, squinting at a broken rock. She
rubs her eyes, then looks again to be sure.
-
You sing, "Of fallen skies and falling dream, the knowing comes before the glean, three or two or
blood to soil, stand and wait without recoil."

Aishia pauses from her song, to clear her throat, then clear it again, and scratch
at her sunburnt cheek with a touch of apprehension. "Well, staunch Warden, I do not know. I suppose
one must be careful what one lets slip as some things are somewhat self fulfilling." She says, with
chagrin.

"I don't know about you, but I'm certainly planning on recoiling if one of those things comes at my
head," a cloaked forestal warden remarks to you, her eyes now peering at the sky suspiciously.

A lightning bolt streaks down from the skies, full of fury and anger.

Aishia shifts her wings as if to shake off an itch somewhere between her
shoulderblades, weight balancing between foot to foot, as if considering shifting her position, her
expression more one of vague philosophical musing than worry. "Well if it is some sort of elemental
confluence of stone focused on me, it probably does not matter if I move or not, and you're likely
not at risk." She says, uncertainly.

Just as you finish speaking, a rock tumbles through the air. It flies at a cloaked forestal warden,
who yelps a curse as she dives out of the way. Climbing back to her feet, the warden takes a few
very pointed steps away from you. "Hey, why don't you sing about gold or something instead."

A lightning bolt streaks down from the skies, full of fury and anger.

Aishia surreptitiously smooths another dose of mending through her hair like one
might work a hair tonic, scratching at her scalp with clawed fingertips a little gingerly, not
seeming to be able to resist prodding. She lifts her feet, one, than the other, with the air of
someone prying them loose from a sticky surface, then sets them down again firmly. "Ah, your
vigilance has paid off." She says, with proud chagrin. Pointedly avoiding looking up, as she
considers. "Gold is much heavier than stone, Warden." She says, a bit dubiously.

"Don't worry about me, I'll just stand over here," a cloaked forestal warden says, quickly taking
another set of steps away from you. Her eyes dart to the sky again, then find the bruise atop your
head. "Or, you know, some bread or something. Just stop with the rocks?"

A lightning bolt streaks down from the skies, full of fury and anger.

Aishia makes a mystical sort of gesture, weaving fingers through the air
nonsensically. "Well, you can't pull rocks from air, they were most likely already falling when I
mentioned them, unless they are the stones of a vengeful god." She muses, as she prods the split
rock with her foot.

A large rock has been dropped onto the ground, having split into two.
It has 0 weeks of usefulness left.
It weighs about 20 pound(s).

A large rock has been dropped onto the ground and it makes a rather large indentation in the floor.
It is round, smooth and very heavy.
It has 0 weeks of usefulness left.
It weighs about 20 pound(s).

You cannot pick up a large rock.

Amending philosophically, you say, "Well, I can't pull rocks from the air..."

"Hey hey, what are you summoning now?" a cloaked forestal warden asks as she watches your hand
gesture, her hands waving frantically at you. Her eyes rove frantically around the room, scoping out
her path of escape, as her body tenses.

Aishia seems intrigued by the question, which she might not have understood, and
peers down at the rocks again, "You don't suppose this is some sort of young Durdalis spirit I have
invoked. Maybe it needs to be reassembled." She says, lapsing into a distracted whimsy. She bends
down, and tries to lift one stone atop the other, and push the two split stones to the base of it.

A deafening clap of thunder fills the air as you assemble the rocks, rapid flashes of lightning
whitening your vision. Mouth open in awe, a cloaked forestal warden watches the proceedings with a
mixture of anticipation and apprehension.

Another clap of thunder, somehow even louder. The tension is so thick you can almost taste it,
building up as..............

Aishia remains stoicly unperturbed by lightning or thunderous tumult, as she fusses
with the stones with the care of a child piling rocks atop each other for no particular reason.

......one half of the broken stone wobbles and falls, coming to a rest on a different face. Nothing
happens.

A cloaked forestal warden slumps slightly, wiping a hand across her brow in relief. "Almost expected
you'd bring a mountain crashing on us."

A lightning bolt streaks down from the skies, full of fury and anger.

Aishia straightens with a pop, almost a jump, as if this wobble were definitive in
her eyes, planting her hands on her hips and still managing to convey a waggling of her finger down
at the small rock pile. She smiles warmly, with a sudden shift of regard, and throws her arms to the
sides in a gesture of helplessness. "Best not to think on it too much. Mountains always hang above
our heads. We are lucky if only little chunks of stone fall." She offers in bright recompense.

A large female troll enters from the south, her eyes glaring around the room.

"Me rocks!" a female troll exclaims as she wanders in, rushing over to examine the pile. "Such throw.
Much far," she declares, nodding in satisfaction.

Almost as an afterthought, a cloaked forestal warden adds, "...wow."

A lightning bolt streaks down from the skies, full of fury and anger.

Aishia steps back from the rocks, with a revelatory sweep of her hand, beaming
almost manically, looking for a moment or three as if she were about to crack in one direction or
another.

All this action seems to have been too much for a cloaked forestal warden, who takes a moment to
compose herself before sternly walking over to the troll. "Watch your aim next time! Take your rocks
and leave."

"Me tired. You take rock," a female troll retorts with a snort.

Glaring one last time, a female troll hurries out to the south.

Aishia huffs a deep breath, in, then out, eventually this dwindles into a sigh.
"Well, I'm glad we got that all sorted out." She says, dusting off her hands against her skirts.

The deepening night settles in as the moon traces its path across the sky.

A cloaked forestal warden springs forward, a hand outstretched as the troll moves. Thinking better
of it, however, she settles back with a sigh. "Well, that's that I guess. Nonetheless, I'd
appreciate it if you stood far away next time you decided to sing about rocks falling out of the sky.
Just in case." The warden squats, resting as she begins to meditate.

A lightning bolt streaks down from the skies, full of fury and anger.

Aishia makes a gesture that could be construed as a gesture to be construed with
meaning, before nodding then to herself, and gazing once more briefly at the stones, before seeming
to pull her gaze away from them with an active dismissal.
