    I've been fond of collecting technique styles because they give me more text to read while I button-smash bash. I recently acquired a warcry scroll and was pleasantly surprised by how well the Cabalist warcry 1P/3P messages mesh with Elene's character and motto.

    Out sick with a killer sore throat and swollen lymph nodes. My health insurance doesn't kick in until next week. One of the apps we make at work is a virtual healthcare one, so I figured I'd try it out as a patient. $4 and 20 minutes later I had spoken with a doctor and had a prescription filled and sent to my local pharmacy. It's kinda cool to see something you work on actually in action.

    Getting Princess Mononoke on blu ray. I wish I could import the Ghibli blu ray releases, but they'd run me about $120 each with import shipping costs. http://i1200.photobucket.com/albums/bb321/Skovgaard63/GhibliJPBlu-ray.jpg But my god they are gorgeous.

    I picked up Princess Mononoke on blu-ray for @Sollace for Christmas, too. It's such an amazing movie. My favorite part in the whole thing is when San and Eboshi are fighting and Ashitaka is like, exploding with the curse and he's like THIS IS WHAT IT'S LIKE GUYS. STOP. So awesome :D

    Princess Mononoke was my first Ghibli movie and one that I bought on VHS! I still remember seeing the review for it on Toonami from TOM (long before it ever was able to air on the block) back in '97. "And just a warning: this is NOT for kids," with a quick cut to one of the samurai being blown off his horse by gunfire and Ashitaka screaming, "I'm warning you!"

    @moirean 4$?! You may have just singlehandedly saved my wallet. @whoever has been doing Makar mobpos: Love the interaction. TThe patience because I Alt-tab, or whateverr (I also play at work, on my phone, so I'm slow anyway) and am AFKish is really appreciated. The little tidbits of interaction between Volka and Makar are so fun, and are really helping me flesh her out as the surface-stable, actually-cracked, kinda-mad-scientist-in-a-weird-way Idea that I had for herwhen I started. Progressing with Aarbrok's hiatus effects, 'tying up loose ends', and just popping into the IG to bs for a few minutes is really helping my RP abilities with mobpos, because Makar -acts- like a player chaecter. A well played one, that encourages me to flesh out my says and emotes more than I normally do, with cute little quirks of personality. He's belivable to have hung out with Aarbrok for awhile, and his secret soft spot for volka's refusal to give up on Aarbrok's dissapearance is really sweet. 10/10, will rp again. (Assuming I'm not AFK, lol)

    @Volka - yeah, it's $4 to talk to a nurse, they collect your info and then a doctor gives you a call within an hour. They can't send out prescriptions for everything, only things they can diagnose over the phone, so obviously there are some limitations, but it's a pretty sweet bypass and money saver if you need prescriptions for something basic.

    Got approached by a startup indie game company to handle their QA part-time on evenings/weekends as a second job. Nailed both interviews, so now I get extra $$$ and, at the least, extra stuff for my resume. If it works out...well, we won't jinx it!
