    Pretty sure it hasn't been changed. You automatically get a sire if you don't have one when you undergo the ritual. I don't know if the malus for not having a sire still exists, but that's a mechanical issue that could perhaps be changed.

    I'm not sure the guild can get anymore dead.There are usually only 5-6 people on at most of the times I'm playing, and they're more or less the same people. I don't know if the player base in general has shrunk since the last time I played in 2008 or if it's just the Bloodborn. The Bloodborn getting mechanical freedom from Praenomen could have a very positive effect on the guild or it could not.

    I think it's the Bloodborn that have shrunk, really. Since now people can just be apprenticed in the class and go join whatever guild they want, etc. That is, they can have the rp of the -class-, and maybe dabble in some of what the guild rp is, but the guild really needs to be able to stand on its own.

    It seems like a lot of it's dried up, or you end up having those two really good friends you always arepee with by yourselves. 

    I just miss when Haern was the party god.

    Nothing to rant about. Except the usual (Alexina killing all my daemons *grumble grumble*) which is pretty inconsequential all up. Things are going smoothly for a change.

    Why must people jump to PK as the first choice? That so irritates me. Especially when it's toward a non-com. It's called roleplay people, try it sometime...

    Oh, and jumping someone who hasn't gotten cures and learned class skills AT ALL because they've been involved in little God events and that RP thing again? Not cool either.

    Who said PK and RP are mutually exclusive? They're not, and while I don't know the situation, that's MY rage - people that consider PK to not be a part of RP. If you did something to get murdered, then get murdered. It's how you handle it that decides who wins. See @Piper for tips on that.

    In defense, if you looked who all was in the room. It was going to turn to pk no matter what. Chak, Ios, Omei,. Ashmer, Ezalor, and others...I am surprised it lasted long without more deaths.

    Actually, the thing that caused her post happened long after the fact. I'm sure everyone expected the God fight to end in a mortal fight, too. And while I do agree with Daskalos (Fancy that) that RP and PK are one in the same, I think she's more than welcome to be annoyed that the RP that led up to the attack was three short says and then an attack.

    You're right about one thing @Daskalos, you don't know the situation. And, I might agree with you that PK and RP aren't mutually exclusive, but for someone who almost exclusively PKs and has slipped up several times in "RP" situations by using OOC things like "Online" ... can you really back up that argument? And yes, I had to razz you about that considering your getting defensive over what I had to say.

    I'm fine with PK in response to RP that earned it. But just switching sides and almost zero interaction leading up to PK as an option is stupid and entirely unimaginative.

    Try not getting your panties in a ruffle Dask. I never said you can't RP, and I never said you exclusively PK. I said you -almost- exclusively PK (let's not mince words here and pretend that isn't the biggest part of your game here).
