We tend to prefer to allow corruption, then leave players to fix it. It's one thing to disable the ability to rob a city blind and ruin the game for everyone, and another to allow small stuff like a corrupt leader RP.I was not aware this could happen??? Honestly, this is a huge pet peeve of mine. It's taking advantage of mechanical loopholes to avoid consequences and simultaneously benefit.

I mean it's cool some people got to drink lemonade, but the issue is less about the RP we were given and more about an ongoing feeling like conflict and interesting, organic, player initiated RP is being neutered.
I feel someone needs to reiterate that Kyna bothered to get on the forums and apologize. This isn't a witch hunt.The shouts weren't getting out of hand, it wasn't an ongoing back and large back and forth and the result was guild RPK. Before anything can even come if it there's the call for "Silence".
Personally, I thought the stun wasn't necessary but the fact that Gods come on to yell "SILENCE" or further add to whatever is being shouted in order to get it to stop is nice.
I'd esteem any Celeni that makes the effort to come out and join the RP. People complain that they don't get enough interaction and when it's given people complain that it isn't the kind they want.

So much like Iazamat, I dont fish... I will never fish because 1) thats not Rhyot and 2) i refuse to pay 100 credits and then spam quests for a month to trans the skill...
That said, I dont think that fishing areas should be instanced. Much like bashing areas where we have to compete with other bashers, fishing areas should be available to have competition. If an individual is slow and cant fish the best areas, spend some time and learn the respawn rates so you maximize your profits.
We dont need to instance everything just because theres competition.
Alternatively, fishing holes being fished out is a great way to start conflict. Kill the competing fisherman, force competing fisherman to leave, make competing fisherman to unwield their poles, etc. OR you can pull a more friendly route and fish alongside them and make a new friend, roleplay with them, gather information from them so you can learn how they run their fishing hole cycles.
Theres many avenues one can take beyond having the admin get involved.

EQ Crown
With the rejection of report 2335, I thought I'd at least bring my personal comments up along with some math. So first, my ramble-y comment on the report itself because paragraphs are hard:
Originally I was going to reject this with a joke about how 'poor people shouldn't be allowed to pk', but looking at the math depressed me. When you get endgame, you get +7% bal or +7% eq. There is no pker since enhancements have come out that has successfully competed at even mid tier without enhancing properly. In fact, there have been fights lost because of a reincarnation and forgetting to set enhances. And in addition to THAT, the bread-and-butter skill of Templars was nerfed 5% to make the class more 'balanced'. With numbers in that range established as 'strongly meaningful to balance', we can then say that a crown is likewise strongly meaningful to balance. In the past, it was argued that classes were balanced AROUND crown, but that can't be accurate - most classes that use crown now don't rely on passives for their primary affliction output, meaning they use the crown every round for their primary output. At -7% affliction rate, unartifacted is weak. At +7% balanced affliction rate, artifacted is OP. So you can't balance to no arties, and you can't balance to artied. If you split the difference (+/-3.5%) there's still a 7% difference between the two, making artied almost significantly OP (using the measure of Templar's 5% nerf), and unartied significantly weak. Class balance for an EQ class cannot exist while the crown artifact is implemented. It requires a $270 pay-in to play an EQ class, limits multiclass options, and is in general bad for the game in every way except for IRE's cash flow. While I'm sympathetic to the need to make sales to keep the game going, I firmly believe crown is not the way to do it.

It's not a matter of being scared to prove you wrong, it's a matter of time investment. Why would Shadow make a Spirit char to just beat you at Zealot? Why would Iesid spend $200 which he earned from using his time working to buy credits to pick Zealot up, when he enjoys Sentinel?Incorrect it's not ad hominem. Why? Because my comments aren't directed toward their skill. I don't doubt their not skilled combatants in their own right. I doubt their solutions and opinion of the class, i.e Top 3 Tier, OP Class is true.
You're making ad hominem arguments, rather than actually addressing their comments about the class. This thread is ultimately pointless beyond providing you with a means of showing the internet another example of the traditional G.I.F.Theory in motion.
So no, this is not about your personal combat expertise. Furthermore what comments have I not addressed? I've only heard rebuttals to my theories. Do you have an example of comments I haven't addressed that don't include claims of Zealot being OP? If so, I'm all ears.

1. Complain? No... sharing my point of view. Unfortunately, you don't use the class so your opinion on how someone should or shouldn't use the class is null and void. From here on out - any wise guy that wants to judge the class and suggest how Zealot should or shouldn't be used. Just don't talk...show. I'm waiting to see it. Especially if you're refuting my comments above, walk the talk.
It's an open challenge that no one is accepting. I find it odd for such an OP Top 3 Tier combat class everyone tends to be scared to prove me wrong.

Since we are going there: I would consider myself a capable fighter, yes. I say that based on conversation with you, as well as 15 years of experience across 3 Iron Realms. I would not hesitate to say that in one of those games, I was top ten for a very long time. I'm, at the very least, not an amateur and my presence is a portion of why Spirit is currently succeeding on a group scale - which is where most meaningful conflict occurs. If you thought Tether's on demand uncon was fair, I don't know what to say. It was mathematically too powerful.
A class can still be considered overpowered or just plain amazing while nobody wins with it in sect or plays it. See: Sentinel. See, until recently: Archivist, Teradrim. To insist Zealot isn't OP just because of your KDR is like insisting a five star restaurant isn't a good establishment because a line cook or two burnt some steaks...
It doesn't take a Crown of Omens to see that Tether was overpowered. It also doesn't take one to see how powerful of a class Zealot is.

My comment wasn't directed at you, sorry. I'm in agreement that a system like this is largely unnecessary and would more than likely end up underutilized despite the good intentions...
That said - if the community is truly passionate about this, this is a wonderful opportunity to take initiative in-game. Utilize the systems already in place and collaborate IG. If the project can hold long term then perhaps the administration can reconsider and legitimize what the players have built.
Anyone remember Duiran's transformation from snuggly to savagery? Spinesreach's transformation into a 'Republic'? The Syssin Syndicate? The same principle applies here I think and I'd honestly rather the agency and upkeep remain in player hands for this type of thing.
