Skulking in the shadows amongst people that might consider you an enemy is an aggressive action even from an rp angle. What is technically true, what makes sense from a roleplaying perspective, and what are healthy social actions to take in a communal game are all entirely different things. It makes RP sense for my character go to hunt down and attack every undead person they see, but I don't do it for myriad reasons.
I think it probably was a little easier to justify when an IRL hour was an IC day, but having the short timescale brought with it other areas where you had to suspend your disbelief (like multi-day RP sessions LOL). It's a tradeoff.
I thought about making assumptions snd calculating speed. I figured that might come off as whining.
While it would be interesting, that sort of cooperation would go in direct opposition to the things both Duiran and Enorian have had drilled into them over the years - Shadow being the source of Dendara's problems and a massive danger to the Oak, and the repeated reminders that compromise with Darkness/Corruption/Undeath would be the end of Enorian.LOL yeah, p much this. I wanted to mention those ominous dreams that like 50% of the citizenry got that basically forewarned if we kept working alongside Bamathis and/or Shadow, we'd essentially be led down the path of corruption and fail at the Beacon's goals. It felt very much like strong-arming us in a direction, or at the very least chastising us for potentially deviating.
The organizations in the Spirit tether have been conditioned over time to be adverse to working with Shadow tether people and orgs in any but the most dire circumstances.
