  • (Quote) Technically they don't, it is just that our current administration has chosen not to enforce federal law re. marijuana in those states.

Edit: That is to say, sure a state can pass/strike down any law it wants. But if there' is a…
  • MBAM is about the single best, most reliable tool for keeping your computer clean. I wouldn't rely on -just- that single program, you'll still need an antivirus, but something as simple as AVG or Avast should have you covered at that point.
  • I've not had too much time to be on dubtrack during the days like I would like to, work has been hammering me hard the last few days. That said, if you want or need mod privs, I am happy to give them to people.
  • Here's some thread necromancy. It seems plug.dj is dead. However, I've created a room for us over at dubtrack.fm. It seems to have a lot of the same function as plug.dj did.

  • That could be the culprit.
  • @Xandren have you flashed your BIOS for an update recently? Buggy BIOS can cause that error as well.
  • If you are in PA, the governor has declared a state of emergency for the coming storm. Please, please stay off the roads if you can avoid being out and about, and try to make sure you have the essentials (bread, water, etc) sometime tonight.
  • They can and likely do track gold, and they can and likely do track people who seem to be afk while grinding fishing, quests, or bashing. You have something like....30 seconds to respond if they ping at you.

    If you're automating anything…
  • With the stability artifact you can dash. In effect the stability defense acts just like mass but because you -don't- have mass any of your actions that would have been stopped or impeded by mass still work.
  • Is that a joke about the two races being covered in slime? Because I think it might be.
  • A general rule for any class is pipe > skills > misc artifacts. One of the things I notice is that no one is singing the praises of the stability artifact. Free, balance-less mass with none of the drawbacks. It should be one of the first few a…
  • Kinda reviving a dead thread here, but apparently you can use hard system links to do something similar to what is going on here. You can have your entire profile stored in your dropbox or onedrive.
  • I feel like the image of harvesting the organs of retired characters for their heirs is more amusing than just passing down wealth to an unrelated character >_>

  • Well yes. The question is whether or not those will end up reacting to the overall market cost we'll see rising in the village shops, and at what point will the cities cut off sale of comms completely.
  • Right, but remember that repeatedly buying out the same comm shop's supply of a particular comm increases the cost that shop asks for the next cycle, after it has refilled. So what we're going to see, logically, is the cities locking down their supp…
  • Keep in mind that, at least back when I actively played last, Areka was pricing to compensate for the stuff that wasn't up to snuff that she smelted and didn't get a full recovery from and make at least a small profit. It strikes me that people have…
  • If you don't think high rollers didn't exist pre-cryptic chests, I don't know what to tell you. There have been people sitting on millions of gold since before I even started playing. People have always had the capacity to clear the credit market or…
  • See, @Toz, that's where you're getting my point twisted. The hardcore players have some responsibility, at least in my opinion, to police themselves and realize when wha…
  • Okay, I'm sorry. My bad. How -dare- I ask the people who have more gold than they know what to do with exercise just a little bit of restraint before they ruin the credit market for the people who aren't absolutely rolling in cash, or look at the bi…
  • Double post for reasons:

Here's what concerns me. We have at peak, what, a hundred concurrent players? A hundred twenty at the most? Which gives us a total playerbase of what, around a hundred fifty if you count the people that are at won…
  • Lol, right. Nobody's rigging the credit market. It's not like all the credits weren't purchased the second the announce post was made and then placed back on the market at absolutely ridiculous prices. And I've heard names, or a name, tossed around.…
  • I'm not bagging on the people buying. I'm bagging on the people buying who then turn around and toss them back on the market at 10,000 gold per or more. I'm bagging on the people that are doing exactly what made Clio so reviled back when I first sta…
  • And some of that is coming down to players reacting to changes in a way that only looks at them and doesn't look at the health of the game overall. Things like your amulets are not by any stretch of the imagination necessary. Heck, a white amulet is…
  • Remember back then, though, web boots weren't as wide-spread as they seem to be now. I dunno, I feel like there's some pretty legitimate problems with the old druid class, both from a usability standpoint and a class-balance standpoint.
  • @Larion the idea I get is that it's not so much a 'we don't owe you anything' and more of a 'hey, XYZ has gotten out of hand, we need to fix things'. It's my understa…
  • Hay! Lets go to Greymarsh! I bet that's just an amazing place to be!

In all honesty, @Hadrak, that map is pretty freakin' sweet. What program are you using…
  • (Quote) This might just be a traveler's issue. I get like that pretty much any time I travel. It sucks. Horribly.
  • Yeah, you can't buy from stables in places you're enemied to.

  • Amg, @Omei. TheDepthsBelow sounds right up my alley.
  • Well, keep in mind that things like artifacts can bend or even outright break natural laws. Or at least it seems like they can.
