At one point there were flame arrow enchantments in...conjuration, I think was the druid skill. It might be cool to see Ascendril get flame arrows and Sciomancers get ice arrows or something.

Ultimately, it is a matter of balance as well. Otherwise you'd get un-armored classes throwing on tons of clothing/accessories that provide defense and buffing their audit. Or the same from armored classes. Some things are likely best left as cosmet…

Apparently crux is throwing 2500 damage or so per 3.5 seconds neutral eq at a 17 int. Or it was. This makes it a really, really viable bashing attack. I'd be curious how well it scales to higher int, or if it has been tweaked a bit.

It is auto-set for anyone that hits tekal. It only has to be set by people that had tekal before the heritage system was implemented. Which is why there are probably people that are end-game without a heritage still.

At level 99/100 now you retain your original racial skills and gain your heritage. Make sure you're happy with the one you're going to get ahead of time because you cannot change your heritage after you've hit 99.
