These rules haven't been updated since April 2018 (three years!) and don't reflect the current bannable offenses or rules. They should probably be cleaned up and updated for clarity's sake.
I can be corrected by someone who's played both Achaea and Aetolia more recently, but to answer your question, I'm pretty sure the Aetolian monk class is nearly identical to the Achaean one, notwithstanding tweaks made for balance.
It is finnicky to install, which I've tried to fix--it's also (presently) not linux/mac compliant, which is an issue. I might release an update in the coming weeks to fix those issues. Also it's been confirmed that if you have a 4k monitor it's goin…
Yeah, seriously, dicey roleplay and emotes require consent, that's 100% good and valid. PK and other forms of mechanical consequences aren't quite the same thing, and it's super silly to act like they are, especially since they're inherently less da…
"Negotiate PK OOC with other players for each individual case" and "sometimes people break the rules and/or go too far and an ISSUE needs to be filed" are two entirely separate ideas, and the first one does not preclude the second. Bad, bad, bad, ba…

This is an abysmal idea. We shouldn't be establishing the precedent of something like "PK cause should be negotiated OOC between two players otherwise it's invalid."

It's spontaneous PK, and even though I don't PK outside of lessers or really engage in unorganized pvp, the consequences of a violent world still impacted my character. That's the point. Generally, organic PVP is easy to avoid, but you can'…
If you don't enjoy spontaneous, unorganized PK then don't engage in it. I don't enjoy it, and don't engage in it (mostly). It doesn't mean my character is exempt from a violent world with violent consequences. I mean you PK'd me for bashing over you…
Considering conflict of all sorts is at record lows at the moment, Czc, I don't think you're right about that. And that's not just PK conflict. Org conflict, pk, whathaveyou--things are way, way down, and not in a good way, I don't think. The commun…
You slipped in before my edit, but you're not wrong, which is why I think a more favorable solution to this general thing is to make it harder/impossible overall to do those types of entrenching maneuvers in Orrery in the first place. A more broad a…
I really think all those arguments could easily be said about Aegis, @Saltz, the only difference is that Shrines have a much bigger mechanical consequence for taking t…
Does this Aegis ruling include things like shrines when they're put down in contested areas such as Orrery? Will you still get a 24 hour defile aura for taking down shrines at Orrery and other major contest spots if they might confer an advantage?
I also find it concerning that the admin are litigating single deaths. Isn't the entire point of it being that a single death has a minimal, capped harm? I get that there's bad faith reads where some folk will be like "well I can PK any person on…
Honestly the "justify your aggression" line coming from the admin down concerns me almost more than the rules on this being overbearing. I'm not overly fond of the gap between "organizations/people will handle it through RPK" and "this is griefing g…
So I was pretty pro-"Something Needs to be Addressed about Organized Conflict and Aegis" but some of these rules are a little vague and/or restrictive. Could you clarify why "major hunting areas" is included as a place where revenge can't be taken? …
