I painted once and hit him twice, so this happened in the span of about 9 seconds. I also see I rebounded once onto myself which added damage, basically cancels out him hitting my own rebounding and a divert.
Dex + Crown is my guess, I don't know the offensive capabilities of the class too well though or their aff selection/balance times. You drain mana through focus/recon/Rites/bleeding from Overwhelm.

Runed bits actually disappear on use, so not quite worth it unless you have some super expensive mount you ride around all the time. It still ends up costing you ~12k gold each time your mount dies.
