@Alexina Diablo's appeal has never really been about a challenge, it's the addiction of finding phat loot (and then PKing people, but Diablo 3 had none of that).
@Haern oh my god, I mean it's Diablo, I'm not expecting the most amazing story-telling, but Blizzard really couldn't come up with something better than Diablo taunting…
Yeah Nidalee is far from useless but you have to adapt a playstyle around her, ie siege and poke instead of engaging. If their entire team isn't at half HP when you're engaging you're doing it wrong.
Think it was just a snarky comment about how the original request was for coloured God illusions and in this case Greytolia is being interpreted as literally not having colour.
IMO just make a flag for rooms that events are happening in that disables illusions there. The friendly areas thing would kill its combat use altogether, which I personally wouldn't mind, but that might upset some people.
Oh yeah, again I don't disagree at all that it's unfair/unintended/legacy mechanics. Just wanted to point out that it isn't an unfairness that's going to completely break the game, which was the same argument presented against removing sun malus fro…
Teradrim are anti-Duiran by nature yet I seem to remember a rogue one helping out Duiran at lessers. There is very little reason why a Teradrim -should- be in Duiran. There's no one side that's solely guilty of metagamey stuff to help them out.
Bliss is a much bigger effect than spriitshields. I don't disagree that all these small combat imbalances should be removed (and that includes vampire sun maluses in non-vampire classes) but I think I'm in the minority there, and at the end of the d…
The effect of all spiritshields is less than the effect of the Epicurus statue. Only one city can have the Epicurus statue at a time and it hardly breaks game balance. It's really not as big a deal as it's being made out to be.
-Technically- they don't work, this Priest(ess) is just a rogue who happens to like Spinesreach I guess. The same sort of thing can be done (and has been done) with other opposite-side-tethered classes to generate an imbalance among side-vs-side PK.…
Well, there's also the argument that Forging actually provides mechanical benefit, unlike the other tradeskills (an argument could be made for vials/bandages/stuff like that I suppose but Forging does so on a much larger scale and as the main purpos…
I really hope they scrap the Claire and Hiro powers. They just introduced way too much deus ex machina and too many plot holes. Also hope they get an actual continual writing team this time, the later seasons of that show were so awful compared to t…
Hangedman has been a problem for forever. I'm kind of disappointed the report to put a cooldown on it wasn't accepted, so hope for deletion when the liaison round is done and Indorani get a valid non-trolly kill tactic.
Nah, at that point in time we were getting dominated very hard by Enoduiran (both 1v1 and in teams) and even Spinesreach was holding their own against us at lessers. The balance of power started shifting when several new PKers sprung up in BL alongs…
I think Haven's point is just that there -was- a long period of time where Bloodloch and Spinesreach were fighting with each other and Enoduiran happily remain allied. Spinesreach -did- actively try to sever ties with Bloodloch and succeeded. He's s…
Dexterity is not bad by any means anymore. The effect isn't immediately visible but with the changes if you are able to push your opponent below 13 dex via the "more dex effect" then you begin lowering their dodge significantly. As most people do no…
Right. I think I'll reconcile that sort of character by bringing in the idea of playing with your prey before eating it. I'm hoping it makes conflict more fun and less conflict-y, if that makes sense.
